Black Cliffs

 Black Cliffs started out 2016 as a musical project between friends from Kungsbacka, Sweden. At the outset the band consisted of Per Hemberg/vocals, Daniel Larsson/drums, Johan Rutgersson/guitar and Philip Lindgren/bas. With common musical influences and playing in the same musical scene growing up they decided to collaborate and record a few songs.  In the spring of 2017 a couple of tracks were recorded at a session at Kingston Studios, Kungsbacka.  In October the band released three songs on Spotify. In December 2017 Lennart Kullgren joined the band as new bassplayer. During 2018  Claes Hedström came onboard as new frontman and singer. 

The months that followed were formative for the band with the aim to develop as a rockband but also find their sound. As a result Black Cliffs went into the recording studio Top Floor Studios in Gothenburg in June 2019, together with producer Jakob Herrman. Fours songs were recorded and later mixed by Roberto Laghi/Oral Majority Studios and mastered by Dragan Tanaskovic. The songs will end up on an EP scheduled to be released in November 2019.   

The members of Black Cliffs bring onboard various musical influences that help shape the sound of the band. Black Cliffs tries to capture the atmosphere and various music that has affected the members over the years with the aim to shape their own sound and find their own fanbase.  The story continues.
